Guest post: St Brigid of Kildare

I’m delighted to say that I was invited to write a guest post on the Creating Herstory blog run by Diana Tierney. She has a Fierce Femme Friday feature which highlights important women down through history.

I chose to write my post about St Brigid, one of Ireland’s patron saints. Bridget Muldowney, the main female character in my series A Matter of Class, is named after the saint.

You can read the post here.

As part of the blog tour for A Class Apart and A Class Entwined, I’m offering a prize as a giveaway: an ebook copy of each book along with the St Brigid’s cross and bog oak incense featured in my guest post about St Brigid (pictured below). Just leave a comment on the guest post to put your name in the hat to win! Giveaway closes February 4th 2019.

Please note this post was due to go out on February 1st, hence that date is referenced to as ‘today’. I hope you enjoy learning more about this interesting woman in Irish history.

Many thanks to Diana for featuring me on her blog!
